Dave Kotrba & Ruth Dauffenbach-Kotrba, Owners

The Full Moon is an old schoolhouse built in the early 1900’s, it was converted to a bar in the late 50’s and has changed hands several times until the stars aligned and Dave Kotrba and Ruth Dauffenbach-Kotrba decided to purchase the landmark bar. Dave and Ruth had the opportunity to invest in a business and were lucky enough to have a son, Kyle, who had many years of experience managing a restaurant. All the pieces fit into place and Dave and Ruth purchased the bar on December 9th, 2005.Dave is now retired and spends his time at the Moon working on projects and doing maintenance. Ruth has now retired after working for MDH for many years, they have had Kyle serving as general manager and his wife Crystal as assistant manager. Having a great family, friends, staff and patrons, we truly "love this bar!" and welcome all!
